How We Started
Our Founder Christine, studied Accounting and worked for two international manufacturing companies up until 2003. Not only did her roles cover that of Financial & Systems Accountaning for these companies she was also an Internal Quality Auditor for ISO 9002. From early beginnings Christine was instrumental in auditing Continuous Improvement Practices and ensuring there was full traceability of Accounting data.
In between working for these two manufacturers, Christine moved into Accounting Software Installation and Training, providing onsite setups and classroom training.
Going through her own transformation process in 2003 (starting a family), Christine established her first Bookkeeping company, which was recently renamed to The Butterfly Bookkeeper Pty Limited in 2017.
The Butterfly is a symbol of transformation. For Christine, her own business has gone through a transformation, from a sole trader entity to a company. With a passion for continuous improvement and meaningful accounting information, Christine endeavours to transform her client’s businesses too.
